How to pay
You can buy pieces of jewellery or vouchers by making secure payments through PayPal. Click on the items you wish to buy and when you have finished your selection go to ‘Basket’ and click ‘Proceed to Checkout’. Then fill in the details required and go to the bottom of the page and click ‘Place Order’. This will take you to the PayPal login page. If you don’t have a PayPal account you can still pay by debit or credit card through PayPal as a guest. After filling in the details on the Checkout page click on ‘Place order’ as above, but when you get through to the PayPal login page click on ‘Don’t have a PayPal account’. Alternatively, I am happy for you to purchase items by cheque. Please send the order details, with the relevant code number and information, by post along with the cheque, or by email separately.
This is included in the price and covers either recorded or special delivery postage depending on the value of the item. As far as possible, delivery should be within 14 working days, and can be sooner on request. If possible please allow 21 working days in the run up to Christmas.
All jewellery comes in a black presentation box with ‘Jamie Inglis Jewellery’ in gold lettering and with gold detail.
You can return any unworn item within 10 days for a full refund or exchange. Please return goods by recorded or special delivery – depending on how you received it.
If you wish to buy a voucher, select a value you require from the voucher page which will take you to the item description page. Add the voucher to your Basket and then either carry on shopping or go to the checkout to pay for the voucher in the same way as if you were buying a piece of jewellery. When I receive the order, I will email you a unique voucher number. This number can then be typed into the ‘Apply Voucher Code’ box at the Basket stage where it will be redeemed against the price of any piece of jewellery. There is no time limit on the use of the vouchers.
On request, personalised engravings, incorporating words, dates or symbols, can be inscribed on most pieces, either front or back. There is usually a £10 charge. If you want to discuss an engraving please contact me by phone or email before ordering.
When ordering rings, bangles, necklaces and pendants it is important that you measure your hand/finger/neck correctly to ensure a good fit. Here are some tips.
I can work with either UK (A-Z+6), European or US sizing systems. Ring sizers normally come in wide (8mm) or narrow (2mm) gauge. You can walk in and get your finger sized in most high street jewellers. When sending me your ring size please specify which system and gauge has been used. If you have any problem working out your ring size please phone me and I will advise you and/or send you a plastic ring sizer. Please make a note of the ring size wanted in the ‘order and sizing notes’ box on the Checkout page.
For closed bangles – if you have an existing bangle that fits well, draw carefully around the inside and send me either the drawing or the measurement of the diameter across in millimetres (average measurements range from 60-70mm). For open bangles measure the whole wrist circumference by wrapping a strip of paper tightly around the wrist until it meets and them measuring the strip in millimetres. Again, if you have any problems working out your bangle size please give me a ring and I will advise you and/or send you a bangle sizer. Please make a note of the bangle size wanted in the ‘order and sizing notes’ box on the Checkout page.
Necklaces and pendants
Chains and necklaces come in three basic lengths (16, 18 & 20 inches). It is no problem to make them to a different length – just let me know when placing the order.
As each piece of jewellery is made by hand from scratch there may be small variations from the pieces shown on the website.
If you have any queries about your order please don’t hesitate to contact me either by email or phone.
